Here are some cakes that I've made: (last updated May 24, 2007) |

It was alot of hard work but the look on his face here makes it all worth it!
This cake took me 2 days with working with the fondant to make. I make each "tunnel"
with four different train faces in them. The topper is a toy Thomas flashlight. I
made track on the top for it as well.
This is 3 layers of 12" rounds. Sliced each in half to put more filling in it
with sliced strawberries. This is by far the largest single cake I've made. Very tasty,
so much so my ex-husband kept complimenting the taste as though he couldn't believe
I made it. lol.

This was for my grandson Blake when he turned 1. I really liked doing the little
paw prints around the edge, hard but worth it.

I did this as a test/refresher cake. I hadn't worked with fondant in awhile. Plus
I was experimenting with the filling. After the groom gave his approval of the filling,
I made...

...this tuxedo cake for the wedding. The bride had already picked out the design.
I did what she wanted. I didn't get a picture of the cake with the topper. Hopefully
someone will get that to me so I can post that here, too.
